STATE OF GEORGIA, COUNTY 0F FULTON.

 

I, A. F. Adamson of said State and County, "being of sound and memory make this my last will and testament

Item #1.  I desire at my death that my body be buried in a decent and Christian like manner, and such monument erected to my memory as my heirs shall deem proper.

Item  #2.  I give and bequeath to my wife, Julia A. J. Adamson free from all charge or limitation whatsoever for her lifetime for her own use, benefit and behoof for her to do with as she pleases while living, all the real and personal property which I own or may hereafter acquire during her lifetime,,

Item  #3.  Upon the death of my wife that the set of Silver Spoons that are heirlooms and now in the family be given to my son, J. R. Adamson, and upon his death to be given to his son J. R. Adamson Jr. and to be handed on down in such manner that they remain in the Adamson family.

Item  #4.  It is my further will that upon the death of my wife that all of my estate that remains at that time both real and personal shall be sold, and after all just claims are paid the proceeds shall be equally divided among my own children as follows: To my sons, 0.D., Y.C.H., E.L. and J.R. Adamson and to my daughters, Willie, Ethel, Truman, Frankie, Myree and Orabird.  In the event anyone or more of said children are not living, then in that event the share of said child shall go to their own children share and share alike.            . ;

Item  #5. I desire and devise aid it is my intent that at the death of my wife if I am not then living that my Executors hereinafter appointed shall pay all just debts or claims due by my estate and collect all debts that may be due to my estate as quickly as possible. 

Item  #6.  I hereby appoint as executors of my estate my daughter, Mrs. Ethel Adamson Harbin and my sons Y.C.H. and E.L. Adamson without bond and they are not required to make amounting or return to any court, but are only required to report to the other heirs mentioned in this will.  Said executors shall receive fifty Dollars ($50.00) each for their diligence and work beside necessary expenses of probating Will and of settling the estate.

 

Item  #7.  It is my will that my daughter Willie assist my daughter Ethel in the distribution of my household and personal effects and that Willie receive reasonable compensation for her assistance. I hereby revoke any and all other wills heretofore made.

This the 3rd day of July, 1933.

Signed, sealed, declared and published by A. F. Adamson as his last will
and testament in the presence of the undersigned as witnesses, being
requested specially by A. F. Adamson to witness this will he first signing
his name in our presence and we then signing as witnesses in his presence
and in the presence of each other.
